Storage.

Your files, organised.

Drag, drop, share and recover. A recycle bin, link sharing and quick search over your files.

Upload · version · share · recover

Drop it here. Every other workspace sees it.

Storage is the file layer every askFinz workspace shares — drop something here and it's instantly available everywhere else. But the interesting bit is what happens after the drop: every save is a versioned checkpoint, every conflict gets named instead of silently overwritten, every delete is recoverable for 30 days, and sharing is a link with expiry and a password, not an invite flow.

Drag, drop, done

Drop files or folders onto any page. Large uploads stream in chunks so a 2 GB video doesn't time out. Storage categorises by type automatically — documents, images, code — and shows a usage breakdown by category.

Versioned by default

Every save lands as a new version with author, timestamp and a one-line note. Scrub backwards and forwards; restore in one click — older versions stay there until you explicitly remove them.

Conflicts, gracefully resolved

When two people (or you and an agent) edit the same file, Storage surfaces the conflict inline with three honest choices: keep theirs, keep mine, or merge. No silent overwrites.

A real recycle bin

Deletes are soft. Files sit in the bin for 30 days, then they're gone. Recovery is one click — no support ticket, no API call.

Shared, with limits you set

Share any file or folder by link with expiry, password protection and download caps. Revoke at any time; old links go dead immediately.

Search across everything

Find files by name, type, date range or who last edited them. Recents, starred and shared views sit alongside the main tree so nothing requires a deep folder dive.

A glimpse of the room

Versions tick up. Conflicts resolve in place.

A scripted walk-through — a new file lands in the tree, the active file versions up, a conflict surfaces and merges. Try the live surface at storage.askfinz.ai.

What ships today.

storage.askfinz.ai·Available

Storage is live in production. The features below are working today — not roadmap promises.

  • Drag and drop from anywhere — upload from your desktop, files are instantly available
  • Conflict resolution that makes sense — when a name clashes, choose to replace or keep both
  • File recovery — deleted by mistake? Restore it from the recycle bin, even weeks later
  • Granular sharing controls — share a link with a password and an expiration date
  • Search your files by name — find what you need from one search bar
In practice

Everyone who has lost a file across cloud drives gets a single place to drag, drop and find anything they have uploaded. Sharing uses a password-protected link with an expiry date, and deleted files can be restored from the recycle bin weeks later.
