askFinz × EAISI.Our own index of the web, scaled from Neuron.
askFinz reads the web itself, files every page by what it is, and answers with the passage that carries the answer and its source. The engineering is built and running. What we want from Neuron is what engineering alone cannot supply: TU/e's researchers, its students, and a room where the next stage gets built together.
web-index — its own collections — typed shelves search-api — for research agents — 380+ models workspaces — one sign-in nodes — open network scale — the numbers
Read live from the index. Every figure opens the page behind it.
A running system TU/e can put to work.
Our own index of the web, a few minutes from campus: millions of pages filed into typed collections, a search API, agents over 380+ models, and a fleet of everyday machines doing the reading. Built to be studied, extended and used.
How the index worksThe people the next stage needs.
A co-founder, students to build with, and researchers who can test the index on real questions, next to founders in Eindhoven who have scaled technical companies before. askFinz is based here, and its founder is finishing a double MSc at TU/e.
Five contributions, each backed by something you can open today.
Datasets, tools and products for academic research
TU/e researchers get access to the index, its typed collections and the search API, for non-commercial academic research only, under our published data terms.
Internships and graduation projects
Student jobs, bachelor end projects and graduation projects on the crawler, the index, ranking and agents: real systems, running today.
A permanent demo in Neuron
Live search on a screen and an indexer node reading the web in the room, so anyone walking past can watch a web index at work.
Guest lectures and case studies
Lectures and case studies on building a web index, retrieval and AI search from first principles, on hardware a student can afford.
Access to our testing environments
Student teams and research projects can build on the platform's test environments: search, agents, models and workspaces.
One community event a year, one talk to students and staff, and taking part in the cohort's activities.
Built, building, and what we would build there.
- Running today
Built and running
The web index, the node fleet, the workspaces, the extension and Indexer OS: designed, built and operated from Eindhoven.
Live status - Months 1 to 6
In Neuron
The desktop app with its own browser, askFinz Drive and the coder; the demo in the building; the first TU/e interns and graduation students.
The desktop app - Months 6 to 12
Scaling together
Eight more workspaces, a TU/e thesis using askFinz as its research tool, the medtech compliance work turned into a paid pilot, and a co-founder found.
The workspaces - What follows
Order, not dates
Our own model, trained on the index, and askFinz OS. Out of revenue, not promised on a date.

Paul Varghese, founder
Full-time. Bachelor's at TU Delft, finishing a double MSc at TU/e. Nine years shipping software; twelve open competitions won since 2024, including the EAISI AI Incentive 2025. Two interns support the engineering, and we are looking for a co-founder.
One open table
3 people: 1 full-time founder and 2 interns. One open table is enough and we have no storage needs. We would also like to be able to use a PO box at Neuron for post.
Built next door
askFinz is based in Eindhoven, and its founder is finishing a double MSc at TU/e and won the EAISI AI Incentive in 2025.
